G&W Contracts acted as General Contractor and PSCS for the construction of an anti-dig footpath along the boundary wall of a secure facility in 2023.

The project entailed the excavation of the existing terrain, precise shuttering of the footpath, and the methodical installation of layered stone filling. Concrete was poured and meticulously finished in 3-metre sections, featuring a brushed surface and bullnose edges for enhanced durability and aesthetics. Existing kerbs and hydrant marker posts were carefully removed, repositioned, and reinstated. Additionally, the surrounding grass areas were levelled and reseeded to seamlessly integrate with the surrounding landscape. Despite the facility’s live operational status, the project was executed with minimal disruption to ongoing distribution activities.
