Logistics Facility Office Refurbishment

G&W Contracts were appointed as the Principal Contractor for the comprehensive refurbishment of the office spaces within a fully operational logistics facility. The primary objective was to modernise the working environment and enhance operational flow, all while ensuring zero disruption to the day-to-day administrative functions of the client's business.

The project encompassed a full strip-out of the existing layout, involving the careful demolition of legacy walls, partitions, and furnishings. The new design was realised through the installation of modern glazed partitions to promote natural light, the construction of new walls, and the structural reinforcement of spaces with additional steel supports. The scope included the fit-out of new steel doors, an electrical refurbishment with new power and data provisions, and the integration of an upgraded security system. The project concluded with the installation of bespoke soft furnishings and ergonomic furniture, providing a fully equipped and contemporary workspace.

All works were meticulously sequenced and managed within the live office environment, requiring close collaboration with the client's staff and facilities management team.Through proactive communication and precise scheduling, the refurbishment was delivered seamlessly, achieving the client's vision for a modernised office without impacting their core logistical operations.
